Press Felt

The press felt is used in press section of the paper machine. It mainly have three function, first forming paper web,second dewatering from the paper web,third conveyoring the paper web. Press felt is very important for paper machine, it directly result in the quality of the paper.

Classification

Single layer felt

Single-layer BOM felts consist of a single layer of base mesh fabric and a fibre layer. The base layer is woven from synthetic monofilaments or compound filaments.

Double layer felt

The double layer press felt includes 1+1 composite structure double bottom net press felt and MD yarn structure. The bottom net of 1+1 composite structure is composed of two kinds of bottom nets with different thickness. According to the requirements of paper machine and paper grade, the thickness of the upper and lower bottom nets can be changed at will.

Triple layer felt

The three-layer BOM felt includes the structure of 1+2, 2+1 and 1+1+1 composite felt. The felt is suitable for linear pressure above 200 kn/m, and has good flexibility and water filtration. It is mainly used for high-grade newsprint, cultural paper, cardboard and other paper types.
