The invention concerns a forming fabric for the wet end of a paper machine, consisting of at least two complete woven fabrics of any desired type of weave which are held together by longitudinally and/or transversely orientated binding threads, the longitudinal threads of the fabrics forming longitudinally orientated fibre support points and the transverse threads forming transversely orientated fibre support points.
