The sludge dewatering belt is the core filtering component of equipment such as belt filter presses, screw presses, vacuum filters, etc. It is mainly woven with polyester monofilaments to achieve solid-liquid separation of sludge, cake stripping, and continuous transportation.
Core function: Permeable, breathable, and impermeable to mud. It quickly filters water in the gravity dewatering and pressing section, forming a mud cake and smoothly peeling it off.
Key requirements: fast water filtration, no mud running, easy peeling, wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and stable size.
Material: high modulus polyester (PET) monofilament, temperature resistance 100 – 120 ℃, hydrolysis resistance and aging resistance.
Woven mesh (most commonly used, standard for belt filter press)
Structure: Interwoven round/flat threads, commonly 3, 4, 5, 8, with a mesh surface mostly in the shape of a herringbone or diagonal.
Features: High strength, balanced water filtration, easy to peel off mud cake, easy to clean, long service life.
Joint: Stainless steel pin joint/spiral ring/fusion joint, joint strength ≥ 95% of the mesh body.
Spiral Mesh with filler (spiral pressing/vacuum filtration)
Structure: Polyester spiral ring+filling thread, adjustable compactness and breathability.
Features: High lateral stiffness, not easily deformed, suitable for high concentration/high viscosity sludge.
Usage: Sludge concentration, coal washing, papermaking and pulp washing, horizontal belt filtration.
The sludge dewatering belt has the characteristics of being breathable, permeable, and impermeable to materials (sludge), and resistant to strong acids and alkalis. The mesh design makes the filter cake easy to peel off and clean. Mainly used in conjunction with belt filter presses, rubber belt vacuum filters, and horizontal belt vacuum filters.
(1) Sun Hong adopts a "human" shape design, which is easy to clean and not easy to get mud and dirt.
(2) It is permeable to water and air but not to mud.
(3) It can be used with belt filter press and horizontal belt vacuum filter.
