There are two main reasons for the penetration of the felt, one is the internal cause of the felt and the other is the external cause of the felt. The internal causes are: the air permeability of the pressed felt is too high, the density of the felt is too low, and the water filtering pore is too large, which causes the fine fibers and fillers in the wet paper sheet to easily enter the felt with the water during the press dehydration process; The external cause is that the vacuum suction function of the vacuum press roller sucks the moisture in the paper sheet and also sucks the fine fibers and fillers into the felt.

The first step to solve the problem is to start with the felt itself. When designing the felt for the paper machine, the air permeability of the felt must be controlled. If the air permeability is too large or too small, the felt will be difficult to use and the machine speed will not go up.

When the felt is soaked, we must take some effective measures to prevent some unnecessary harm.

Firstly, measures such as further tensioning the felt, softening the felt with alkaline water, and burning the felt with gasoline burner are taken to improve the compactness of the felt surface and reduce the permeability of the felt.

Secondly, it is necessary to strengthen the cleaning of the inner ring felt roller (especially the first felt roller of the inner ring). The cleaning mainly uses spray water to spray the roller surface to prevent the accumulation of fine fibers and fillers. The cleaning mainly uses the roller surface scraper to clean the roller surface so that the spray water and slurry can be discharged in a centralized manner.

Thirdly, it is necessary to strengthen the cleaning of paper-making felts, reasonably use low-pressure fan-shaped spray water, high-pressure mobile water needle and vacuum suction water tank, so that the fine fibers and fillers entering the felts can be washed away in time without accumulation.
