During the papermaking process, pulp is sprayed onto the forming fabric at a certain angle, and this strong impact may cause deformation or damage to the forming fabric. Therefore, the forming board not only plays a role in supporting and receiving the pulp, but also changes the arrangement direction of pulp fibers from disorderly distribution to distribution along the MD direction of the paper machine. In this way, a large amount of suspension can remain on the forming fabric, and as it moves forward, preliminary dehydration and forming work can be completed.
The forming board is usually installed behind the breast roller and directly contacts the forming fabric, improving the quality of paper web forming by adjusting the initial dehydration process of the paper material.

By adjusting the dehydration speed of the paper material, fiber and filler loss can be avoided to ensure uniform forming of the paper sheet.

Cooperate with subsequent dehydration components (such as vacuum suction box, dehydration board, etc.) to gradually reduce the moisture content of the paper, ultimately forming a wet paper web with a certain dryness.
