What's The Application of Sealing Strips Used in Suction Roll?
Graphite sealing strip is a key component used in suction roll to maintain sealing performance. This type of sealing strip is usually made of graphite material and has characteristics such as high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and self-lubricating properties. It is widely used in vacuum roller systems in industries such as papermaking, printing, and packaging. Except graphite material, we also provide UHMW material sealing strip which have lower cost and suitable for paper machine speed lower than 600m/min.

1. When removing the old sealing strip, first clean the sealing groove with a non-metallic blade to avoid residual debris affecting the fit of the new sealing strip.
2. Place the new sealing strip in a 50 ℃ constant temperature chamber for 30 minutes to restore its elasticity.
3. When embedding into the sealing groove, pay attention to the direction markings and use a rubber hammer to evenly tap along the length of the sealing strip to ensure complete insertion into the groove without lifting.
4. Start the device idle test and observe that the fluctuation range of the vacuum gauge pointer does not exceed ± 0.5kPa, which is considered qualified.
