The sealing strips and end deckles are key component used in suction rolls to maintain rolls sealing performance. It is mainly installed at the junction of the suction roll to provide a sealing effect. In a vacuum environment, sealing strips can effectively prevent external gases or impurities from entering, ensuring the stability of the internal vacuum degree of the equipment. Meanwhile, under pressure conditions, it can also prevent gas or liquid leakage inside the equipment, ensuring production safety.
We have two material for sealing strips and end deckles, the one is UHMW material which is made of ultra high molecular polyethylene and rubber graphite material. They have long service life and low coefficient friction for different paper machine working speed.
The UHMW material is suitable for paper machine speed lower than 600m/min. This material is cheap and have low coefficient of friction.
The graphite material have more wide application for high speed paper machine up to 2000m/min.
1. Maintain sealing performance: Graphite end deckle, through their special material properties, can effectively maintain sealing in high-speed suction rollers, preventing gas or liquid leakage.
2. High temperature resistance and corrosion resistance: Graphite materials can work stably in the temperature range of -200 ℃ to 500 ℃, suitable for most industrial scenarios.
3. Self lubricating properties: The layered structure and weak intermolecular forces of graphite make it easy to form a lubricating film under pressure or friction, reducing direct contact between metal parts during equipment operation and lowering friction losses.
