Applications of Rotary Joint in Papermaking

Rotary joint, as crucial components connecting rollers and fixed pipelines, are primarily used to convey various media (water, steam, heat transfer oil, etc.).  They are commonly used in the dryer section of paper machine, where they deliver saturated steam into the dryer cylinder. The steam condenses on the inner wall of the cylinder, releasing a large amount of latent heat of vaporization. This heat is then transferred through the cylinder wall to the contacting wet paper web, and the condensed water is quickly removed. Rotary joint ensure the stable transmission of steam, condensate, and other media, optimizing the heat distribution on the dryer cylinder surface, achieving uniform dryer, and improving paper quality.
