• Only one layer of warp yarn and one layer of weft yarn interweave on the same plane.

• Common: 4, 5, 8 satin weave organization.

• All are interwoven with round and single filaments.

1.5 Layer Forming Fabric

• The 1.5 layer forming fabric warp yarn is divided into two layers: upper warp and lower warp

• There is only one layer of weft yarn, and the upper and lower layers jointly 'bite' the same weft yarn

• Compared to single layer forming fabric: higher retention, lighter mesh marks, more stable size, longer lifespan.

• Compared to 2.5 layer and 3 layer forming fabric: cheaper price, faster dehydration.

• Balancing surface quality and dehydration efficiency.

• Suitable for medium speed paper machine, with significantly better stability than single layer forming fabric.
