Single layer forming fabric is a single layer fabric made by interweaving polyester monofilaments warp and weft yarns in the same plane, with no upper or lower layers and half layers bridging, making it the simplest and most cost-effective forming fabric in structure. It's mainly made of polyester , partially can choose nylon material to strength the fabric. Single Layer fabric use flat weave, satin weave and other fabrics, circular weaving without any end is followed by heat setting and cleaning treatment.

1) 4 and 5 heddle single layer forming fabric is suitable for normal fourdriner paper machine to produce culture paper, printing paper, newsprint paper, packing paper,etc.
2) 8 heddle single layer polyester forming fabric is suitable for single wire fourdrinier paper machine corrugated paper, kraft paper, liner test paper, all kind of paper weight over 70 gsm and multi wire paper machine bottom wire.
3) 8 heddle weave structure increase the abrasion loss of back weft yarn, and increase the use service life. The 8 heddle mesh compare to 4 heedle mesh, the mesh inner have more free spare, so that the air permeability is more large, dehydration capacity more strong and the dimension is more stable.

Advantages:Simple structure, low price, easy installation and repair; Open mesh, fast dehydration speed; High breathability, suitable for low-speed, high beating degree and high concentration pulp; Lightweight and low energy consumption in the forming section;
Disadvantages:The retention rate of fine fibers and fillers is less than 2.5 layer and triple layer forming fabric; The fineness of the mesh surface is limited, and the mesh marks are more obvious than those of multi-layer fabric; The stability and wear resistance are weak at high speeds, and the lifespan is usually shorter than that of 2.5 layer fabric; The ability to resist deformation is average, and local relaxation is prone to occur.
