The foudrinier paper machine is the most widely used paper machine. The foudrinier paper machine, is characterized by a forming part consisting of an endless forming fabric. It consists of a wet section (including a headbox, forming section, and press section) and a dryer section (drying, calendering, and reeling). According to the number of former and dryer cylinders, it can be divided into single long wire, double long wire, multi cylinder,and other models; According to the speed, it can be divided into low-speed and high-speed. The paper machines used for producing newspapers and other materials are mostly high-speed paper machines with high output, with speeds exceeding 1200m/min and widths up to 10m.

The Difference Between Foudrinier Paper Machine and Cylinder Mould Paper Machine:

1. The main difference between cylinder mould and foudrinier paper machines is that the pulp of cylinder mould paper machines is formed on the cylinder mould, which is usually immersed in the pulp. foudrinier paper machines usually spray the pulp onto an endless forming fabric to form a long horizontal forming table.

2. A paper machine with multiple cylinder mould used for making cardboard is generally called a multi cylinder paper machine, but in some factories it is also called multi wire paper machine. Generally, a multi wire paper machine is composed of several forming table or cylinder mould formed and then compounded together.

3. Advantages of cylinder mould paper machine: fast speed, strong dewatering capacity, often used for large-scale paper production.

4. Advantages of foudrinier paper machine: The longitudinal and transverse tensile strength of the paper sheets is relatively small, and it is often used for small-scale production of specialty paper.

5. In terms of physical properties, appearance quality, and printing performance, cylinder mould paper machine's paper is inferior to foudrinier paper machine's paper.
