Paper Machine Flat Yarn Dryer Fabric

Flat yarn dryer fabric uses polyester monofilament with a rectangular cross-section as the warp thread. The single filament has a smaller arc and longer nodes, resulting in a smoother mesh surface, lighter paper screen printing, stable size, and longer service life.

Structure of Flat Yarn Dryer Fabric

The warp is made of rectangular cross-section polyester flat yarn (hydrolysis resistant PET), and the weft is made of circular monofilament, which is specially woven and heat set into an endless dryer fabric.

• 1. Single/double warp flat yarn+round weft (1+1, 2+1, 2+2).

• Double layer composite (paper layer warp surface, machine layer weft surface) to reduce warp wear.

• Typical specifications: Flat yarn section 0.30-0.35 mm × 0.70-0.85 mm; Round yarn 0.40-0.70 mm.

• Warp density: 16-25 strands/cm; weft density: 10-20 strands/cm.

• Higher heat transfer efficiency: When the flat yarn comes into contact with the paper web, the heat conduction is faster, and the drying efficiency is increased by 10-20%.

• Extremely light mesh marks: large contact area, uniform pressure distribution, high paper smoothness, suitable for printing/coating paper.

• Accurate and controllable breathability: The mesh body is flat, the channel are regular, the breathability is stable (150-400 CFM), and moisture is discharged smoothly.
