Spiral press filter belt is a type of filter belt that adds filler fibers into a spiral ring to reduce air permeability and minimize material loss on the mesh surface. It is mainly used for pressing and filtering belts in belt dewatering machines, as well as industries such as papermaking, printing and dyeing, food, chemical, alcohol, vinegar, coal washing, mining, papermaking pulp washing, pharmaceuticals, sludge dewatering, ceramic industry, and sludge dewatering for solid-liquid separation.
The spiral press filter belt is not like woven type fabric, it's made by spiral twisted polyester monofilament wire and use the pins hold the spirals together to a chain. Compare with woven type fabric, the spiral filter mesh don't need extra joint seam. Because the spiral coil can be connected together and it's stronger and have longer service time. We use glue to reinforce the edge of mesh belt so that reduce abrasive wear and firmly holds the wire in the mesh.
