Gravity disc thickener is mainly used for thickening low-concentration pulp. For mechanical wood pulp, waste paper pulp, reed pulp, bamboo pulp, slag pulp, straw pulp, etc. with low freeness, short fiber or high pulp concentration, gravity disc thickener can be used to thicken at low concentration. Gravity disc thickener is different from traditional vacuum disc filter. It has no vacuum and does not need to be installed on higher floors to meet the vacuum requirements of water leg pipe. It can replace traditional gravity round screen thickener.
