The pressure screen basket is a critical component installed inside the pressure screen system. Its primary function is to separate qualified fibers from pulp suspension while removing contaminants such as shives, plastics, and other non-fiber impurities. By ensuring precise fiber screening, the pressure screen basket directly improves pulp cleanliness and final paper quality.
The screening process is achieved through the interaction between the rotor and the pressure screen basket, generating centrifugal force and pressure difference across the basket slots or holes. This controlled pressure differential allows accepted pulp to pass through while retaining coarse particles and rejects.
In addition to fiber separation, the pressure screen basket also plays an important role in regulating production capacity and pulp consistency. By adjusting the internal and external pressure difference, rotor speed, and slot design, mills can optimize throughput, screening efficiency, and energy consumption. High-quality pressure screen baskets are typically manufactured from wear-resistant stainless steel and can be designed as slot type or hole type depending on pulp characteristics and application requirements.

Accroding to prdoction process ,the pressure screen basket mainly have two types, slot type and drilled hole type screen basket. Drilled hole screen basket is mainly used for coarse screening, slot screen basket is mainly used for fine screening.
According to the pulp flow method, the pressure screen basket can be divided into inflow screen basket and outflow screen basket, the flange in the outside is outflow screen basket, the flange in the inside is inflow screen basket.

Surface feature: wave type, spiral strips type.
Slot size: ≥ 0.08mm.
